Only The Best In Professional Hair Care.

Above I have curated a list of what I personally would recommend to my guests according to their hair needs. So if you are feeling you are lacking in an area choose a product for your need.

These are my favorite products and companies to work with, I highly recommend them because they are companies that really care about the industry and their impact on the earth, their initiatives to offset the damage we do I support and want others to know about them too. 

CULT + KING Is my number one choice to recommend because of their transparency in ingredients, and their use of sustainable refillable packagings like glass, aluminum, and bamboo. The quality of C+K's botanical formulas and scents is like none other found on the professional market, not one client would disagree. There is something for everyone in this line. You can share products with your entire family. If you are a hairstylist looking for a beautiful and functional line to work with that your clients will absolutely adore, you need to try this line. Tonik is a great cutting spray, and something all your clients should be using on their scalps to prevent hair loss and maintain scalp health, Jelly and Style are truly life-changing products and will make styling a breeze no matter if you are air drying or creating a soft luxuriously polished blowout.

If you do not know where to start try a Hairstory Kit. I adore Hairstory, they created an incredible cream cleanser that replaces shampoo and conditioner, my hair has been a great challenge over the years and New Wash has completely taken away my dreaded wash day. Let me just say it is truly the only product I have found as a stylist that I can use on 98 percent of clients. It balanced the hair's pH better than anything I've used- and I have tried so much out there.
I desire to educate everyone on how to use New Wash to their advantage and reduce their plastic waste and synthetic exposure dramatically. Here's my disclaimer with HS STYLING products as I have them up here in the shop because of their impeccable safe quality ingredients and ability to actually work and satisfy, BUT they currently are not ALL refillable packaging for their styling products and they use post-consumer plastics instead of glass, aluminum, bamboo, hemp, or mycelium based packaging, all ideas I hope they on board at some point, but they currently have New Wash, Balm, and Dressed Up available for refills. I am not comfortable recommending anyone invest in products that are not sustainable for the earth, I personally try to recommend the more sustainable choice and when there is no equivalent I recommend a product that ingredients are safe and amazing, some still have improving on the packaging but at the end of the day, they are far beyond better than anything I have found on the professional haircare market. I personally do not believe they are a company that green washes, and that's why I am making an extra effort to voice the negatives along with the benefits.
Hairstory has majorly impressed me with their constant improvements and their eco-initiatives, so no doubt they will eventually improve upon their packaging. 

FYH Brush
Roxie Jane Hunt is a creative inspiration and beautiful soul, she truly understands the benefits of taking time to refocus and heal, she facilitates humans to take a journey down the road to self-care through a ritual of brushing. She introduced me to brushing with her custom boar and nylon bristle brush that she gifted me ( I literally wept my first brush session). It totally changed my view on scalp care and the ritual of grooming we have somehow lost over the last two decades. It is such a valuable free tool to relieve daily stress, wash less and balance the scalp and the issues that arise within it. Roxie and I collaborated on a design, my great mate and client Katy designed something I had in mind, and ode to Dr Steve Brule, if you don't know who that is you gotta go look that up now...

Huihui Essentials
Kind, lovely, gentle, and powerful. That is how I would describe Huihui and its creator Lori Huitron. If you haven't met Lori you gotta hop on over to her IG. She is one of the sweetest souls I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Lori created a beautiful oil to assist in hair growth and darling it does work! This is my number one recommended scalp oil to brush with. Drop it in after a hard day, massage, brush and let your scalp soak in those nutrients overnight. Wash in am with New Wash or your fav gentle cleanser.

Some other beautiful lines to check out that I plan to write more about in the future are Foret and After World Organics. There are a few other lines out there that are marketed as non-toxic or clean beauty products but I have had stylists and clients note reactions with using some of the haircare. I have chosen to not recommend hair care that I have noted to have 10 or more reactions until I can distinguish what may be causing sensitivity or reaction. I don't know all the emerging clean beauty lines out there yet so please don't take it not being on my recommendation and affiliate link page as me saying it is not safe or good. I just only put what I have tried so far and as you can see I don't put every product in a line up here, that's because the rest of the products I don't use as often and I truly believe in only recommending something I love and have tested to see it's results I also don't believe you should have to buy every product in a hair care line just to have great hair.
When switching to a cleaner line I do not recommend mixing non-toxic botanical hair care with synthetic products, every time someone does this they do not experience the true freeing effects of the non-toxic hair care. If there is a sustainable option try that one first, don't be afraid to put away your synthetics for a month to truly get a break from the toxic effects you may not even notice until you cut it out. Use your judgment when picking out your grooming care, avoid synthetics and plastics as much as possible.
